Update Dec 14th, Casual photos.
Update Dec 11th. All the beautiful and sweet kittens have pending reservations.
We had so much fun at the kitten open house in Hillsboro and the kittens were very tired the next day. Thanks again for everyone who visited and if you missed it and want to be notified of the next one in the late spring/summer please give me a call or email. Callie Jarena will be spayed and head back south to her adoring family in California right after Christmas. Most of the kittens in this group will be neutered and finish their vaccines, and be ready to join their new families near January 12th. In most situations it is most appropriate to keep the kittens with the breeder until they are 12 weeks old. When they arrive in their new homes it is best to continue with the same food. This litter is eating (CLICK FOR URL) BLUE Kitten dry available at Petco and online. I recommend they stay on this food for several months if not a year. It is a grain free food and high protein. In the next week I will post a list of great supplies and ideas. In the mean time please watch the behavior training videos on this site. Meow, Liz
Update Dec 2nd. Almost 6 weeks old!
We set up the Christmas tree and did holiday family things today so I am a bit behind schedule. Her are some pictures and videos from playtime tonight.
Update Nov 18th 4 weeks old
What adorable sweet peas! Gentle and content like their wonderful mother "Callie" and father "Sir Shocolad". The kittens are still spending almost all of their time with their mama in their box but the box moves from my bed to the living room at different times of day to get them used to different sights and sounds. They are all quite plump and have no interest in solid food yet. We are starting to play with small soft toys and getting belly rubs. Sometimes they climb out of their box and cuddle on my pillow. I see some their eyes turning green. The black kitten immediately below has some changes in his kitten fur.. and he may darken again in the next month or two.

Jarena "Callie" Kitten Blog. (SIR SHOCOLAD)
Five gorgeous babies were born quietly during the night of Oct 21st. Callie is on loan from her loving and adoring family who will be naming the babies: hopefully a Russian and a nick name.... at their convenience. They may also decide to keep one kitten. At this time I am hoping the keep the tortie female in my breeding program to embrace Callie's ultra low allergen levels and extraordinarily sweet personality .
