Weaning time for Quince and Queenie .
Update 2/16
Queenie is a spunky girl, always ready to play and investigate. She comes to me almost immediately when called. "kitty, kitty". She likes to sit on my laptop.

Update Quince 2/17. Quince is a lover boy who loves to be pet, brushed and scratched. He has a loud purr and seems quite calm compared to his sister. Quince seems to like relaxing with me while I read.
Welcome to Eugenia's litter page . (Dam Daisley Eugenia Candytuft, Sire Daisley Leo Arbutus (retired))
Update Feb 10. The kittens have gone to live with Sami, my terrific cattery employee . They will be weaned there (away from their mother's loud calling) and finish socializing with new people. They will return in a week and have their final vet check, vaccines and then be ready to go to their new homes. I'll be reaching out to folks on the reservation list about their placement/choices - in order of deposit received.
Update Feb 1. (10 weeks old)
The little cutie pies are gaining weight at a normal rate, weigh just on or over 2 pounds. I think they might grow into big cats but because they appear small.. it is good to be open to the possibililty that they will stay small. We have been inviting the neighbor's over to play with the kittens several times per week or more.
Queenie has confidence and spunk. She loves her wand toys and if you aren't playing with her she will play by herself. She makes me laugh.. always having fun. Quince is still considered shy. He loves his mama and his cat tree. Quince is on a slow path to becoming socialized. When I see kittens like this I know they will develop after weaning by leaps and bounds. Uncle Novinka will come in and play with them and groom them next week when they are weaned.
Overall I'm impressed with their very very blue eyes, chubby and blocky bodies . We took Quince for a car ride yesterday. He actually enjoyed it and didn't say anything. It gave him a chance to get away from mom and sis. He sat on a friends' lap. More updates at weaning. New pictures coming soon.

Update Jan 21st.. just woke up from a cat nap.. after playing with the feather wand.
Update 1/16/17
Update Jan 5th, 2017
"Quince" lynx point male.
Quince is super cute and cuddly. He is very feminine and about 20 percent smaller than other kittens . I have put him on a high calorie diet and hope that he reaches his full potential. However it may be that he is destined to be small. Time will tell.
"Queenie" Seal point female
Queenie is also a little bit small for her age. This might be a genetic issue and we may have some thumbelina kittens. Other than being small they are delightful. We will start socializing them with more visitors and playtime with feather wands. They are eating Hills I/D and Royal Canin kitten food. I notice that their eyes are especially blue and they are absolutely gorgeous. Press play to start slideshows.
Update 12/29
This pair are very bonded to each other. They are also more shy at this stage because of the litter size. I'll be working with them to become more brave and social and introduce them to Uncle Novinka, the calming agent who teaches the kittens to have a relaxed demeanor. Queenie is in charge at this point and loves canned food and has a big belly. Quince is just starting to enjoy canned food and adventuring on his own. They both are very sweet like their parents. They are pocket type kittens.. enjoying being held close.
Update Dec 21st.
Quince, Tentative hold for Dana S., Portland,OR lynxpoint male. One month old. (Ill try to get some better photos in a few days)
Queenie, Seal Point female, One month.
One month old and super fat, Queenie and Quince are gorgeous kittens. Quince is a lynxpoint and will look like mom. Queenie, the female, will look like Dad a big seal point. Both parents are unusually large so I expect these kittens will also grow up to be large, especially Quince. Here is a slideshow of each above.
At ten days old there are two healthy baby kittens. One appears to be a chubby lynx point female, and one is a potentially darker seal or lynx male. This is the "Q" litter and they are Queenie and Quince. They will be inseparable and will be placed into homes on the reservation list that are buying a pair of kittens preferably.
