Julius is now Sabrina. She is a lover and super feminine. She will be offered to those on the reservation list. She is staying a little longer through the end of the month of September to keep Kareem company who is leaving on the 28th of Sep. Absolutely charming kitty. She just had a bath in this photo. More photos coming. The other kittens in this litter are reserved.

The vet exam went well. One exception however.. the vet was uncertain what gender Julius is. SO uncertain she passed Julius around to the techs for 2nd opinions. The consensus was possible female but to recheck at the vet in 2 weeks. I have never had this happen before but I'm guessing they are correct. Female. The plumbing is very small and it is hard to tell.
The kittens are running the house now and mama Willow is always nearby. Kareem, Michael and Magic are very boisterous and can't get enough of the wand toy games. Julius and Brittney hang back a bit and watch. This group are absolutely stunning and I'll enjoy every minute of the next month or so with them. They are all sweet and loving.

Six and a half weeks. Soon (on August 16th) they go to the vet for their wellness exam. Then folks on the list can start choosing.
They are all potty trained now and eating Blue Buffalo Tastefuls kitten dry food as well as Gerber chicken babyfood and nursing a lot. Poor Willow is still eating like a horse to try to keep up. All of the kittens are getting handled a lot by people of all ages... from 4 to 90 years old. They love small toys and balls to bat around but their favorite thing to do is wrestle. Except Brittney who is more feminine.

"julius" red collar. Male. A little smaller than siblings but a guest favorite.
"Kareem" Light blue collar, Male. Largest in litter. Gentle.
"Michael" Green collar. First to the food bowl. Comical.
"Magic" Black/white tabby male. Dialed in, lots of eye contact. Sweet.

A little disheveled and scruffy. These babies are still nursing (milk stains) and being groomed by mom regularly. They have started exploring out of their box and are starting to eat food and drink from the water dish. The potty training is just beginning. They should have it mastered in a few weeks. They are an outgoing bunch. They waddle and hop awkwardly to me when I enter their room. They are playing with toys and balls and wrestling a lot.
They are wearing collars now to help identify them. Red is Julius. Pink is Brittney. Black (hard to see ) is the black tabby Magic. Green is Michael and Light Blue is Kareem.
They are growing in spurts. Magic is my mother's favorite. My favorite is Kareem. He has a nice big frame . This is a first time mating which I will repeat. Beautiful typey cats.

This fat group of 5 are growing and starting to want to crawl out of the nest box but can't make it yet. Next week we will be exploring the room and introducing them to food but they will probably will continue for nurse only for another 10 days. Willow is a super friendly cat and incredibly mellow, as is their Dad, Kodiak. I expect loving and playful personalities. Their personalities will emerge in a month. I already see one is especially adventurous.

Five kittens all fat and healthy. Opening their eyes and rolling around in their nest box. Mom Willow is calm and loving. We are taking turns holding them in our laps and giving tummy rubs. It looks like one dark tabby and 4 little Kodiaks (daddy). All have white mittens and some have white collars. The light ones will darken with age and have a lynx appearance with a dark tail and ears. (blue eyes). This group are all big for their age and chunky.

Congratulations dear sweet Willow for her 2nd litter of kittens born yesterday 6-21-25. This is Kodiak's 1st litter. Both Willow and Kodiak are exceptionally good natured and I anticipate some great personalities in this group. Kittens will be offered to folks on the reservation list and ready Sep 13/14 at 12 weeks. Willow had her kittens one day early. This is a little unusual. I have been watching them closely to make sure they all get a chance to nurse .
