Here is a slideshow of our fun day. .... Albert is still looking for a good new home. Please call me if you are interested ... 541-929-4164 .. The wonderful kids who are raising these babies are calling them Albert and Pumpkin Head and CryBaby. I guess the Russian names starting with "M" I gave them will be on the pedigree instead. For now the kittens come to here ":baby" or "kitty kitty" . I am never ceased to amaze at how well kittens grow up around small children. They seek out laps, love to be held for hours on end and 'cuddle' is their middle name. The kittens recently have been weaned from Sofiia and are eating solid food which is down for them 24/7. They are mastering the litter boxes. We are using two types of litter. Pine pellets in one pan and Fresh Step in the other. The kittens urinate in the pine pellets and go #2 in the clay litter. This seems to be a popular way to go.. having two types of litter and keeping the litterpans, food, and bed near each other to simplify life.
The vet exams went well today. Our foreign exchange student Myra and my son John brought some friends over from Hamburg after school to hold the kittens. =)
So we have two males and one dark tortie female. The two red mackerel tabbies are very different. One is sleepy , cuddly and licks you when you hold him. The larger male is playful, high energy and very silly. Vet wellness exam on Wednesday and names coming. Elizabeth Daisley Siberians has a Facebook page. We will be naming these three kittens this weekend. The boys are like night and day.. and the girl is pretty - a dark torbie..but she was born black and is lightening. Photos courtesy of their foster family - Thanks Amanda. It is difficult to show real daylight colors and so we will do another photo shoot this weekend.. Absolutely adorable.
