Hi and welcome to the U litter blog. Today we had a vet visit at River's Edge Pet Medical Center. They are always so thorough and kind. Everyone passed with flying colors. This week the kittens have weaned from mama Maple. They are moving in to Sami's house tonight to start socializing with lots of people. Sami has worked for me for many years off and on and we used to work at a vet clinic together. The kittens will have a small room to start, just like at their new homes. The kittens are completely potty trained now and are learning to use their claws on the scratching posts only, and are also learning not to play bite. Next week they get their FVRCP vaccine . Sami will continue taking photos and then in 2 weeks they will be ready for their new homes. This is an important time for the kittens, it is when they form their strong bond with humans. We also reinforce coming when called. Right now it is tapping a spoon to a dish and calling "kitty Kitty" and then giving them a treat, like a spoon of Beechnut chicken baby food which they love. They also like tiny pieces of cheddar cheese.

Ulfred, Seal point (large) Male. 1 pound. Green collar.
Uma, Female lynx point. 14 3/8 ounces Pink collar.
Ubov, Ivory collar. Female or undeveloped male. 11 ounces.
Utahnii, Teal with pink striped collar. Lynx point . 9 3/4 ounces. Unsure of gender: female or underdeveloped male. Time will tell.
Eyes are starting to open now....two females below..waddling around on their own... 3/24/17

Update March 16th. Eyes still closed. I think there are 5 lynx and 1 seal point. Possibly 3 females/3 males.
