6-15-25

Kandy and Jackson are eating and sleeping a lot. At night I can hear them patter about and run and jump but during the day they eat and sleep most of the time. It is a time of growing in weight and coordination. They are able to climb to the highest point on the cat tree effortlessly. I was hiding canned food for Kate (mama) up there but they got into it . It meant lots of baths and even a quick trim to the groomer for a spa. Kandy purrs when you pet her . They both love to be brushed and often fall asleep while being groomed. They are developing personalities. Feather wand toys are their current activity . The vet visit was pushed back to next Saturday morning.

6-3-25 6 weeks

Still messy but starting to play with toys. We are working on brushing them and bathing. They are getting to know little feather wand toys. Kandy has a white tip on the end of her tail like a paint brush. Jackson started carrying around a toy mouse in his mouth today. They are eating kibble and nursing a lot. Very cute babies.

5-27-25 Five weeks

Potty training ongoing this week. It's kinda messy... bathing and trying out food... stepping in food, etc. Kandy and Jackson are growing well even though they are still getting most of their calories from Kate's milk. Both have astoundingly blue eyes in natural light. I'll try to capture that next posting. They are subdued while they are in the big room with Kate.. although at night I hear hopping and skipping about. Neighbor kiddos are visiting regularly to hold them . These are going to be some stunning show quality cats when they grow up.

5-19-25

The girl with white is Kandy for Kandinsky and the boy is Jackson for Jackson Pollock (both fine art painters).

5-18-25

Today I make an opening in the nest box and so they can adventure around the kitten room. There are toys and feathers scattered around to explore. They probably wont try food and water until next week. I have some tiny low litter boxes for them to climb into. More photos this week.

5-12-25

One girl with white mittens and a splash of white on her face is so cute. She is sleepy in these photos. The boy is a lynx point without white. Both are super fat and relaxed. Kate is very attentive and a wonderful 1st time mother. Names tba. These kittens will be offered to folks on the reservation list. Beautiful babies.. I wish that I could keep them both .

4-26-25

Sadly we lost one little angel baby right away. Kate has one beautiful boy, and a gorgeous girl. They are fat, healthy and active. Sometimes this happens and it is very sad. Kate is getting lots of attention and Im checking on her and her babies constantly throughout the day.. They are not red like dad.. but light grey like mama. Very likely lynx points. When their eyes open next week they will be blue. (Both parents have blue eyes).
