Well we are ready to go. The documents are finished for the USDA and Alaska Airlines. We had a good exam yesterday with Roger's Vet Service. Barnabe was a rascal when it came time for the nail trim and we talked him through it. He weighed in at 17 pounds with the carrier. I think the carrier weighs 3 pounds max. The vets commented on how beautiful/handsome he is.. and they didn't recognize him from the tiny kitten they saw for his kitten wellness exam many moons ago.

Thanks so much again for everything Liz! Sorry he was so naughty with the nail trimming... I'm sure this will be interesting once we get back into our routine trying to do it every week! Today and tomorrow will be spent running to PetCo to furnish our new place to accommodate Mr. B! I am so excited to see him on Tuesday.

Hi Andrea, I would recommend getting some hairball food - perhaps Royal Canin Extreme Hairball. This will help add fiber while he sheds his huge coat. It has beet pulp in it. Today I got the new hardware to secure the carrier for the plane. talk soon, Liz
