Welcome to Ballana's kitten blog.
This litter is the "H" litter. Their pedigree names will include an H name. Pick up dates July 9 to July 16th unless the vet allows them to go home earlier.
Three chubby kittens were born on April 23rd to Waterlily Ballana of Daisley and the sire is Daisley Zandrov Hansel. Both mom and dad are large, exquisite examples of the Siberian breed. Tabby female on breeder reserve.

Update June 11, 2016 - Seven weeks old.
Horatio - Just waking up. This active boy is reserved for Irie in Spokane. Wrestling in the litter pan and rolling around on the floor with his sisters is his favorite pastime. Self grooming is not. He sleeps on the human bed on his back. The world is his oyster.. he is all 'boy'.
Helena in Russian means "Light of the Sun" Lynx point female.
Harmonia: Greek name "Goddess of Peace and Harmony" Tabby female Breeder Reserve at this time.
Update 5 weeks old. First vet exam. Two girls, one boy.
Updates May 23rd, Four weeks old.
The threesome are spending lots of time playing on the bed, and being carried around. Thank you Maddie, (my daughter) for doing such a nice job caring for them. This is the "H" litter and we'll be putting together some names to reflect their personalities this coming week. The tabby is feminine and her classic patterns are lightening a little bit. She will look a lot like her beautiful mother, Ballana. The two boys are indistinguishable so they will start wearing colored collars. Mom is a medium allergen level and Dad is a low allergen level so I can't guarantee the levels of the babies. I will prefer to not place these into homes with chronic allergies or asthma. The babies are being offered Royal Canin kitten food and an easy access litter box but they are just tasting the litter and playing with the food at this stage. We just wait patiently for their little brains to learn from their mother. Ballana enjoys being a mom and has a loud purring motor running much of the day.
Update May 15th, 3 weeks old.
All three are enjoying being held on the bed and couch but only as long as mama is close by and bellies are full first. The two lynx points seem to be boys and the black classic tabby is smaller and she is very much a girl. They are compact and round bodied. They will be stout and built low to the ground. I can't wait to see them develop over the next few weeks.
Update May 7th, 2016. Two weeks old.
Today the kittens all moved with Ballana to live with my daughter where they will get lots of love and socialization. It looks like one male and two females but I will confirm that for sure next week. Over the next month the lighter two kittens will develop stripes indicating lynx point patterns or black ears and feet indicating seal point coloring. Both lighter ones have blue eyes. I am so pleased with Ballana's parenting skills. Her kittens are happy and relaxed. They are all very fat too. Weekly photos from now on.
