Princess Anna and Flambeau's litter Born Sep 9th at 4am-6am. Congratulations!
Nov 14th, '23 Kitten blog has finished 12/5/23. All kittens are reserved or in their forever homes.
Emily was camera shy so we'll pop her in later. She is under a breeder reserve. The kittens are doing great.. lots of people time and bonding with humans. We have started adding Gerber babyfood into their diet. They are gobbling it up and making a mess doing so. Frequent bathing and some messiness is a result.
The four boys are on track to go home at 12 weeks on Dec 3-10. I appreciate you being patient while I work down the waiting list helping people choose their kittens.
It has come to my attention that a friend near Salem Oregon who breeds Siberians also has some kittens available that are the same age. They will be ready to go on Dec2nd. I will be happy to share photos and info. These other kittens are also raised under foot with children.

Pick up dates Sunday Dec 3rd through Sunday Dec 10th. (both litters)
Personality descriptions of 8 1/2 week old kittens below.
These descriptions will be updated weekly and will change as the kittens develop into their confident, independent selves.
Food: Recommend you continue to feed Blue Buffalo Tastefuls/kitten dry plus Fortiflora Probiotics for at least the 1st month.
I'll be emailing a kitten care guide , sales agreement and pedigrees, pet insurance info over the next few weeks.
When can we pick our kitten? Soon! The picking has started and we are very carefully going in "order" of the reservation list.
I'll mark the kittens "reserved by.." as that happens and will reach out to all of you individually to help you gather info to make a good choice that will match your family.
What happens if I don't like my choices? In this case you will be offered a refund of your deposit OR you can go on the wait for Spring litters and be top of the list then.

Ernest : Loves people. First to run up to you. High energy. Snuggly. Likes to stare at you..lots of eye contact. Ernest is my game show host guy. Demands attention.
Faulkner: Light blue collar. Adaptable, Calm, poses for the camera. (Inner peace). Sweet. Easy going middle child personality.
Fitzgerald: Black/gold collar. Another fab kitten. Lots of eye contact. This is the foster mom's favorite kitten this week. There is something special about him. He loves laptime and snuggles. He is also sometimes on your shoulder kissing your ear. Attention seeking.
Emily: Calm and sweet. People oriented personality. Blossoming after weaning. Wants attention but not demanding. Climbs all over you. Loves laps.
Twain: Green collar. Playful and inquisitive however took weaning hard and misses his mom. He is more timid than his siblings this week. Calm. Expecting him to gain more confidence quickly with his foster family.

The kittens are lovely! They are starting to purr when petted. They are still in the messy stage. Right now the favorite activity is stepping in their food. I am feeding Gerber chicken and turkey babyfood and two kinds of kitten kibble. Blue Buffalo Kitten Tastefuls dry is most popular. Because they step in food and sit in it we've been bathing frequently. They are very good and patient with me. This messy stage will pass soon and they will be tidy like mama Anna.
They love balls and tunnels. I often find them running and jumping on top of each other and then sleeping on the carpeted cat trees. The photos below were taken right after a long nap. Personality descriptions will come in the next two weeks as they become individuals and characteristics emerge.

Oct 22nd Gorgeous cuties.. blue eyes and lynx markings.
Oct 17 Potty training has begun. Tasting Gerber turkey baby food and kibble.
This week they are all potty training. Last week I let them out of the box (or they climbed out) and I set out litter boxes with low edges around the room . Several kittens decided to potty in the wrong places. We removed extra rugs/bedding and simplified their world. I put the litter boxes right next to the food dishes. Keep it simple. We want the babies to be perfect by next week. Now that they are getting a taste for babyfood I'll start tapping their dish with a spoon to make a tap tap sound and call "Here kitty kitty" to teach them to come. We have named them (my mom did actually):
Fitzgerald, Mark Twain, William Faulkner and Emily Bronte and Ernest Hemingway.

Oct 10 Eyes open. Wrestling. Fluffy puff balls.
Tomorrow/ Oct 11 I'll enlarge their world and see if the are ready for solid food. SO far they are very happy nursing. We'll start playing with wand toys / feathers and watch tv with grandma more this week. We put a fleece into a laundry basket and carry them around the house. It keeps them safe and mobile. Anna is a first time mom and full of instinct and great mothering skills. She keeps her babies very clean and well fed. Next week I'll put on colored collars to help identify the little ones.

Sep 22 Hello World
One week Sep 17
Sad story. One the 2nd day a small kitten passed away after probably getting laid upon. We now have five large and fat healthy kittens. There appear to be four males and one female who is on a breeder reserve. Enjoy the video. There are always new videos being added. Some are under 30 seconds and called Shorts.

Six lynx point kittens born early around 4-6am on Sep 9th. This is Anna's first litter and she is doing amazingly well. She is calm and confident and keeping them warm and clean and quiet. When the babies were first born Anna's instinct was to huddle over them and purr loudly to welcome them into the world. What a nice mama kitty.
