Kisha, a bi color looks a bit different now and here are some photos of bicolor Ragdolls to get an idea of what she could look like later. Imagine her with long fur too .... We are doing new videos this weekend of all the kittens.
Starting to play more.. wrestling, enjoying wand toys, travelling in the car (on my lap), visiting with friends.. starting to spend more time away from mom... over the next weeks we will be encourage the socialization of these little ones.. lots of 'playdates' with friends.. They are very funny now.. playful ....even sneaky. I will upload many videos because that seems to be the best way to 'capture' their essence. Also for the remainder of their time here they will have colored collars. Purple is Tatianna, Green is Viktor, Orange is Mikhail, Yellow is Kisha. Short video of Viktor.. being very goofy..Typical of Annie's babies .. they are relatively small kittens and extremely sweet. I expect them to be large and fluffy when they are mature.. but now I am seeing short baby kitten fur, big eyes and lots of nursing on mama. Probably in the next ten days or so they will change a lot. In the mean time here are some group photos. I am carrying them around a lot while I do chores, even dishes.. They enjoy the shoulder rides and they also get to sleep on my bed at night. The photo on the top of this website is their half brother, Sami. He looked very similar to them when he was the same age. He is now approximately fourteen pounds. Tatianna, Viktor, Mikhail and Kisha are starting to show distinct personalities. I will put up individual photos and descriptions in the next few days. In general this group is quiet and sweet. Annie has stayed with them 24/7 up until last night when she started sitting on the chair next to their bed. The kittens wandered around a bit yesterday. They are all fairly pale and have large eyes. The colors will change a lot but at this point Im guessing all Lynx points with very blue eyes. They all have great eye contact and listen to everything I tell them. Several of them are so mellow they just lay on their back when I approach them. Annie is eating everything in sight and she can't wait until they start eating solid food. I will start to supplement with kitten formula soon.
Thinking way ahead here but thinking about spending time with family at the end of the summer/early September and bringing the kittens to the Seattle area.
Annie had her kittens on the full moon June 15/16. The ears are already darkening so I imagine seal lynx points or seal points are all possible. We will see over time lots of color changes. I am holding the kittens briefly and petting them several times per day. Annie is eating lots of extra calories to keep up with them. At night I can hear the kittens purring which sounds like tiny motors humming. |
